Galatians 1 1: Paul, an apostle- not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead- 2: and all the brothers who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 3: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4: who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5: to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 6: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- 7: not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8: But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9: As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. 10: For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. 11: For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. 12: For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. 13: For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it. 14: And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers. 15: But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace, 16: was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone; 17: nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus. 18: Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days. 19: But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord's brother. 20: (In what I am writing to you, before God, I do not lie!) 21: Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. 22: And I was still unknown in person to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23: They only were hearing it said, "He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." 24: And they glorified God because of me.

Acts 23:11-17 [ESV] 11: The following night the Lord stood by him and said, "Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome." 12: When it was day, the Jews made a plot and bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. 13: There were more than forty who made this conspiracy. 14: They went to the chief priests and elders and said, "We have strictly bound ourselves by an oath to taste no food till we have killed Paul. 15: Now therefore you, along with the council, give notice to the tribune to bring him down to you, as though you were going to determine his case more exactly. And we are ready to kill him before he comes near." 16: Now the son of Paul's sister heard of their ambush, so he went and entered the barracks and told Paul. 17: Paul called one of the centurions and said, "Take this young man to the tribune, for he has something to tell him."

Romans 9:1-5 [ESV] 1: I am speaking the truth in Christ- I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit- 2: that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3: For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. 4: They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. 5: To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

John 7:37-49 [ESV] 37: On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38: Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" 39: Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. 40: When they heard these words, some of the people said, "This really is the Prophet." 41: Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Is the Christ to come from Galilee? 42: Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?" 43: So there was a division among the people over him. 44: Some of them wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him. 45: The officers then came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why did you not bring him?" 46: The officers answered, "No one ever spoke like this man!" 47: The Pharisees answered them, "Have you also been deceived? 48: Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him? 49: But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed."

1 Corinthians 16:20-24 [ESV] 20: All the brothers send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21: I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. 22: If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come! 23: The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24: My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

2 Peter 2 1: But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2: And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3: And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 4: For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 5: if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6: if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7: and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8: (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 9: then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, 10: and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, 11: whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord. 12: But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, 13: suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you. 14: They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children! 15: Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing, 16: but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet's madness. 17: These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved. 18: For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error. 19: They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. 20: For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21: For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22: What the true proverb says has happened to them: "The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire."

1 Corinthians 12:1-3 [ESV] 1: Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2: You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols, however you were led. 3: Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus is accursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit.
